PURPOSE:To provide a mounting method of a sealing plate for a bearing and a sealing device of the bearing where the structure of the sealing plate for the bearing and the seal groove of an inner or outer ring of the bearing is simplified, the manufacturing process is simple compared with the conventional ones, the manufacturing is easy and time and cost effective, the bearing can be appropriately downsized, and the mounting power of the sealing plate is high. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive layer 6 is provided on the surface of a sealing plate 4 for a bearing which is in contact with either of the upper surface of an outer ring 1 or an inner ring 3 of the bearing or the horizontal surface 2a of the seal groove 2, or on either of the surfaces of the outer ring 1 or the inner ring 3 of the bearing in contact with the sealing plate 4 for the bearing, and the sealing plate 4 for the bearing is abutted on the outer ring l or the inner ring 3 of the bearing, and the bearing is sealed by adhering and fixing the sealing plate 4 for the bearing to the outer ring 1 or the inner ring 3 of the bearing. It is preferable to provide continuous or intermittent recessed parts over the whole circumference of a vertical surface 2a of the seal groove 2, and to melt and flow the adhesives on the adhesive layer 6 into the recessed parts to be solidified therein.
