The tray (10) is constructed from a fibre-pulp material or other material having been deposited in a suction-depositing process on a suction mould in the form of a layer. The tray comprises a bottom (14,14a) and an outwardly and upwardly inclined side wall (12).The tray bottom ascends towards the side wall (12) from its central portion and has a curved appearance, with the middle of the tray being the lowest point. The tray further comprises a protruding part (16) which acts as an anti-jamming member.
