Cable joint for attachment of cable end to machine component

The cable joint (1) connects a cable end to a machine component, and comprises a frame (2) with two mounting elements (3,4), which are arranged at a converging angle (alpha) to the side edge (2') of the frame. A tensioning element (6) slides longitudinally inside the frame between the mounting elements, and tensions the cable and its end (5') between its side edge and the mountings. The tensioner is wedge shaped, with side edges at the same angle (alpha) as the mounting elements, and the side ends (6') are connected via a bend section (7).
