PURPOSE:To provide the subject food free from offensive odor, excellent in flavor, color tone, fanciness and safety, useful for health etc., formulated with a specific palm oil carotene. CONSTITUTION:The objective food formulated with a palm oil carotene, a product obtained by extracting Blaeis, comprising (A) a total of 85-97wt.% of (l) 55-70wt.% of 4-carotene and (2) 20-40wt.% of alpha-carotene and (B) a total of 3-15wt.% of (3) other carotene(s) and (4) a natural coloring matter such as lycopene. |
