<p>A method of reducing the rate of clearance of a liposome containing an anionic lipid from the plasma of an animal is described. A composition of a carrier and an active ingredient in an amount effective to bind to apolipoprotein H and decrease its plasma concentration is administered to the animal to reduce the plasma concentration of apoH to a level at which binding to the anionic lipid is reduced.</p> |
