PURPOSE:To reduce running costs by providing a recording head unit having a recording head and an ink container unified together, replacing only ink container with a new one as the ink container filled with ink becomes empty, and by the use of the recording head intactly continuously. CONSTITUTION:In a recording head unit, there is provided a recording head 1 having a liquid chamber 19 for reserving ink therein, an ink discharge port communicated to the liquid chamber 19 via an ink flow conduit, an energy actuating part situated in the ink flow conduit, and a pipe member 27 for introducing ink into the liquid chamber 19, and also provided an ink container 2 for reserving ink to be supplied into the liquid chamber 19 and having a hole 25 to which the pip member 27 is inserted, wherein the pipe member 27 is inserted Into the hole 25 to be connected each other and the ink container 2 is connected to the recording head 1 detachably. |
