PURPOSE:To provide fragment-like cushioning material by the use of corrugated board paper whose little amount is capable of producing a cushioning effect. CONSTITUTION:A fragment-like cushioning material 1 is made of corrugated board paper having a lamination part 1d formed between an observe 1a and the reverse 1b. A plurality of cushioning parts 1c continuously formed in a bending shape in a longitudinal direction are formed in a waveform and shredded in a strip-form shape. In the cushioning part 1c, according to an external force F, the whole of the fragment-like cushioning material 1 is stretched in a longitudinal direction from a protruding state, being an initial state, and deforming to bring it into a flat state. Meanwhile, when the external force F is rendered ineffective, a reaction force (a shape return force) through which a shape is elastically returned to its initial state is provided, whereby a cushioning effect against the external force is produced. |
