Class 82(2) A froth flotation apparatus incorporates two impellers 20, 22, the upper one of which forms an air vortex 27 and also expels part of the air sucked down the tube 15 laterally to form froth. The lower impeller 22 mixes the air from the vortex with the pulp and the aerated pulp is forced through apertures 25 into the main body of the pulp. Several such impeller units may be positioned in a single container 10. |
