<p>PURPOSE:To easily input information to be displayed by a user by arranging an information pattern on a substrate, where photodetectors are arranged in the shape of a dot matrix, and preventing external light from being made incident on the photodetectors in an area corresponding to the information pattern. CONSTITUTION:The external light due to the information pattern of ink or the like is cut off in the state of placing a transparent original sheet 24 above a lamp house 15 of an original reading part after the pattern of information such as desired characters or patterns is hand written on this transparent original sheet 24 by using a black marker or the like or is printed by copy or the like or an information pattern display object is directly placed on the sheet. Then, the output signals of respective photodetectors 13 and 14 are detected, and the data of the information pattern are read in the shape of a matrix. Therefore, the various kinds of desired information such as characters or patterns intended by the user can be easily and immediately inputted, these data can be directly or indirectly outputted to an information display device and the desired information can be easily inputted.</p> |
