PURPOSE:To provide the herbicide composition exhibiting an excellent herbicidal effect against wide grass kinds of gramineous weeds, broad-leaved weeds, etc., without affecting crops, especially beans such as soybeans, in upland fields in which broad-leaved crops, etc., are cultivated. CONSTITUTION:The herbicide composition contains (A) a cyano ketone derivative of the formula (A1 is substitutable aromatic group, substitutable heterocyclic group: X1 to X3 are O, S; B1 to B3 are H, alkyl; Y1 to Y4 are H, halogen, alkyl; A2 is substitutable alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, alkoxycarbonyl, substitutable benzoyl, CN, substitutable aromatic group, substitutable heterocyclic group; but when B1 and B2 are H and alkyl, respectively, the compound exhibits either one or the arbitrary ratio mixture of two kinds of enantiomers at the asymmetric C atom bound to B1, B2) and (B) 2-(4- isopropyl-4-methyl-5-oxoimidazol in-2-yl)-3-quinolinic acid. |
