PURPOSE:To suppress generation of random noise of a laser beam generated accompanying with a temporal change in an He-Ne gas laser pipe. CONSTITUTION:In an internal mirror type He-Ne gas laser tube, a capillary 11 made of a glass has a structure that a plurality of capillary large diameter parts 13 having a large inside diameter are provided in addition to capillary small-diameter parts 12 having a small inside diameter, whereby though translation stripes produced by a discharge in a radius of the capillary 11 make progress in an anode column and increase to become a cause of a random noise generation, the translation stripes are damped in the capillary large-diameter part 13 having a large diameter not to increase, further to suppress a generation of random noise. |
