PURPOSE:To improve light resistance and eliminate degradation of density and whiteness by providing a layer containing an ultraviolet absorbent between thermal recording layers, in a multicolor thermal recording material having at least two or more thermal recording layers containing coloring component provided on a support body. CONSTITUTION:A multicolor thermal recording material has on a support body at least two or more thermal recording layers containing colorless or light color coloring component which colors with heat. In this case, a layer containing an ultraviolet absorbent is further provided between the thermal recording layers. The layer containing the ultraviolet absorbent is provided between a thermal recording layer the nearest to the support body and a thermal recording layer provided on the thermal recording layer. Thus, the light resistance of the multicolor thermal recording material is improved, and when it is left for a long time, thinning of density at colored part in an image and lowering of whiteness of a ground which should be white will be eliminated. |
