<p>PURPOSE: To protect a press pin against damages due to an excessive press-in resistance by installing the shaft of the pin, so that it moves vertically up wards through a press plate. CONSTITUTION: During a press cycle, an assembly including a press plate 33 and a coil spring 44, and a pin 30 and a stripper plate 32 moves towards a loading plate 56. Then the lower section 38 of the press pin 30 comes into contact with the top surface of a constituent element 52 which is arranged in a constituent element press hole 54. As the press plate 33 moves towards the loading plate 56, the pin 30 presses the constituent element 52 forward to make it reach a constituent element hole 60 of a hold plate 58. Here, when the resistance generated by the pressing of the constituent element 52 exceeds the force of a coil spring 44, the coil spring 44 is compressed, and the press pin 30 moves up, towards the press plate 33. Consequently, damages to the pin can be avoided.</p> |
