摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To attain a pulse communication whose secrecy can be improved by facilitating use of a system on the side of transmission and reception of data, and making it difficult to restrict the code string of the transmission pulse of the other party for the third person by generating an arbitrary chaos code by preliminarily making arrangement on the transmission and reception side. CONSTITUTION:A chaos code generator is used as a code generator 10 which generates the code string necessary for encoding a transmission pulse (A) as an encoder for expanding a pulse width on the transmission side, and necessary for multiplying the transmission pulse by a reception pulse and demodulating it as a decoder for compressing the reception pulse width on the reception side. That is, a non-linear mapping function is selected (1), inputs X0, X1, and X2 are set (2), and the prescribed maximum value of the output values is set (3) in turn so that a prescribed chaos numerical train can be generated (4). The chaos numerical train is in turn binarized by an encoder by means of plural threshold values for binarization, and a multivalued code series is generated by an arbitrary bit length (5). Then, on the transmission side, the transmission pulse is encoded for expanding the pulse width, and on the reception side, the transmission pulse is multiplied by the reception pulse, decoded, and the code string is prepared.</p>
