PURPOSE:To reduce the data volume of road backup information to be transferred in respect to a method for transferring the road backup information between plural road management systems. CONSTITUTION:A road management system 1 is provided with a connecting line pattern storing means 11 for storing a connecting line pattern prepared by mutually connecting plural lines whose backup sections may come into contact with each other, a backup information storing means 12 for temporarily storing road backup information inputted in each line and a backup information processing means 13 for reading out the road backup information of each line stored in the means 12 at a prescribed period, preparing the combination of the road backup information of plural lines having backup sections contacting with each other, comparing the prepared combination with the connection line pattern stored in the means 11, and when a coincident connection line pattern exists, converting the backup section of each line into a backup section on the pattern to prepare backup information in each pattern, and transferring the prepared information to another road management system. |
