发明名称 ANALYSIS METHOD UTILIZING FLOW IN CAPLILLARY TUBE
摘要 PURPOSE: To decide the property of a fluid sample and the presence/absence and amount of an object to be assayed by applying the sample to a device holding a reagent in a capillary passage and a passage and detecting the flowing characteristic of the sample. CONSTITUTION: A sample from an inlet 64 is denatured when the sample reacts to a first reagent 68 in an accepting chamber 58 and passes through a capillary tube 66. After the tube 66, the sample reacts to a second reagent 70 in a reaction chamber 60 and generates detect signals. A vent hole 72 stops the flow of the sample and can cause variation in the chamber 60. A flowing-out chamber 62 has an outlet vent hole 74 and when the intermediate vent hole 72 is closed, an assay medium enters the chamber 62 through a rapillary tube 76. When the vent hole 72 is closed after introducing a device 50 composed of a block 7 into a meter, the medium flows through the tube 76 where large particles can be measured from the scattering of light by the particles, pattern of the light transmitted through the tube 76, and interception of light by agglutinated cell particles.
