PURPOSE:To obtain a pattern making device capable of making easily external character pattern with little manhour even when the number of dot in a dot matrix becomes large. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with an area shape setting part 3 setting a dot and a dot area with a shape constituted of the dot in the vicinity of the dot, an area shape revision indication part 5 indicating revision in the shape of the dot area, and a pattern is made by deciding the dot area as black or white for a pattern memory 1 constituted of the dot matrix. The position of the dot area is moved by a dot area moving part 8. The shape of the dot area is revised by an area shape revision indication part 5. |
