PURPOSE:To provide an ultrasonic motor driver which drives a driver in contact with the progressive waves generated in a piezoelectric oscillator by applying oscillation output to the piezoelectric oscillator which has quartered electrodes each on both sides. CONSTITUTION:Quartered electrodes 1A, 1B, 1C, and 1D are provided at one end face of a piezoelectric oscillator 1, and quartered electrodes are provided further on the other end face, and electrodes opposite to each other are connected to the electrodes on both sides. And, output circuits 2a and 2b are connected to the adjacent two electrodes on one side, and the composite voltage of the piezoelectric oscillator 1 is detected by the other two electrodes, and this voltage is amplified with an amplifier 4, and is inputted into an oscillator 5, and the oscillator 5 can automatically track the resonance frequency, so it can generate stable progressive waves to the piezoelectric oscillator 1. Moreover, the pulse signal generator 8 connected to a control circuit 7 and a rotational direction control signal generator 9 can control the speed and the rotational direction of the progressive waves generated in the piezoelectric oscillator 1. |
