PURPOSE:To reduce the height of a connector and simplify the structure by mounting, on a first member to be connected, an U-shaped connector for inserting a second member to be connected in cooperation of the first member. CONSTITUTION:A connector 6 has an U-shaped section, and the deep part is blocked by a wall 6a. The connector body 6 is mounted on a PWB 3, and a mounting hole 7 to which a FFC 1 can be attachably and removably inserted by the connector body 6 and the PWB 3 is formed between the connector body 6 and the PWB 3. A contact terminal 8 is protrudingly provided in the mounting hole 7. One end 8a of the contact terminal 8 is passed in the wall 6 and soldered to the reverse surface through the through-hole 9 of the PWB 3. According to this constitution, the connector height can be lowered as much as possible to miniaturize the connector. |
