PURPOSE:To provide a dielectric porcelain composition having a high dielectric constant, a large quality coefficient Q, and a temperature coefficient tauf of resonance frequency of almost zero, and suitable for a microwave region, and a method for manufacturing the same. CONSTITUTION:A titanium, barium, lead, praseodymium, neodymium, samarium, and gadolinium dielectric porcelain composition is expressed by a formula: a.{(1-w).BaO, w.PbO}.b.TiO2.c.{1.Pr2O11/3, m.Nd2O3, n.Sm2O3, o.Gd2O3}, wherein (a), (b), (c), (w), (l), (m), (n), and (o) represent mole ratios; a+b+c=1; 0.1<a<0.2; 0.6<b<0.8; 0.1<c<0.2; 0.001<w<0.25; 0.97<=l+m+n+o<=1; 0.005<l<0.30; 0.015<m<0.85; 0.02<n<0.95; and 0.005<o<0.60. Furthermore, the dielectric porcelain composition is manufactured by using a light rare earth mixture including a rare earth element as a material for the rare earth element. |
