<p>The joint can stably constrain together up to six rods converging in the same node of a structure, these rods being arranged in accordance with the axes of a reference system with three orthogonal Cartesian axes centred in the node. The joint comprises a base body with two opposable parts which can be brought together to stably constrain up to three of the rods converging in the node, two of said three rods being coaxial. The base body is provided with means suitable for co-operating with the counter-means with which a maximum number of three additional bodies are fitted, these means and counter- means of connection permitting one or more of the above- mentioned additional bodies to be stably constrained. Each additional body is associable with one of the remaining rods and comprises two opposable parts which can be brought together to stably constrain the additional body to the associated rod. <IMAGE></p> |
