PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of pithium disease, downy mildew, etc., and accelerate the multiplication of hyphae and the formation of spores by spraying a specific compound while cultivating a VA mycorrhiza fungus-infected plant in the presence of a carrier for inoculating VA mycorrhiza fungus. CONSTITUTION:When a VA mycorrhiza fungus-infected plant is cultivated in the presence of a carrier for inoculating VA mycorrhiza fungus, a compound of the formula (R<1> is H, methyl; R<2> is O, S; R<3> is 2-4C alkyl, 1-methyl-2-propynyl, allyl; n is 2-5; m is 0, 1) is sprayed on the carrier for inoculating the VA mycorrhiza. The VA mycorrhiza fungus-inoculated carrier high in spore density and excellent in activity is obtained. |
