PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF DIOXIDE TITANIUM SLURRY FOR POLYESTER

This relates to the manufacturing of titanium dioxide which has no aggregation macroparticle and can inhibit aggregation of polymer. Titanium dioxide slurry is made by dispersing titanium dioxide with less than 1μm of av. primary diameter in glycol and adding and dispersing 0.01-10 wt.% of phosphoric acid ester of formula (1). In the formula, R1, R2 are H or lower alkyl; M is sodium or potassium; n, m are integer below 10 and n+ +m > 0. The above metal salt of phosphoric ester inhibits aggregation of titania particle in slurry and stabilizes the slurry, and when adding in polyester it can inhibit aggregation and stabilize the dispersing in the polymer.
