PURPOSE:To enable to closely mix even longer fibers without developing pills by a method wherein horizontal agitation and vertical paddling are simultaneously applied for the mixing of thermoplastic synthetic resin and fibers. CONSTITUTION:When a rotating disc 2 is paddlingly rotated through an arm 31 and a rotating shaft 22 by means of a motor 3 under the state that thermoplastic synthetic resin and fibers and,if desired, another additive are charged in a vessel 1, the contents 4 of the vessel 1 is agitated by the rotation of the rotating disc 2 and simultaneously vertically paddled by the paddling of the rotating disc 2. The right side of the contents 4 is swelled up while its left side falls down by means of the rotating disc 2. At the next state, the left side of the contents 4 is swelled up while its right side falls down. In the manner as mentioned above, the whole periphery of the contents are successively and repeatedly swelled up and fallen down as the rotating disc 2 rotates. Thus, the stirring consisting in combining the horizontal agitation with the vertical paddling is applied to the contents 4. A diameter of 50mum or less and an aspect ratio of 55 or more are preferable for the fiber in order to be able to closely entangle with the thermoplastic synthetic resin when both of them are mixed with each other. |
