An electrical installation system for use in domestic and workplace locations has a distributor box (20) that is supplied with a 380V mains. Internally the supply is split into 220V 3-phase circuits (L1, L2, L3). A number of coded 220V plug-in connectors (21a, b, 22ab, 22ab) are provided around the periphery of the box. The plugs provide connection to load devices (V1-V3). The supply cable (30) is coded to achieve a specific connection. USE/ADVANTAGE - Allows number of 220V loads to be connected to split 380V supply.
