The object of the invention is to provide a new installation for fighting fire, in particular in engine rooms in ships and in similar spaces. The installation comprises a number of sprinklers or spray heads (7; 10-14) which at a high operating pressure produce fog-like liquid sprays (9; 15-18). At least one sprinkler or spray head is directed in such a manner that the fog-like liquid spray thereof collides with the fog-like liquid spray of another sprinkler or spray head. |
