PURPOSE:To provide an air cleaner for a motorcycle that covers the both sides of filters mounted to base plates with left and right side covers, that does not restrict its inlet port, that can prevent penetration of muddy water, etc., and whose intake resistance is small and intake efficiency is good. CONSTITUTION:Base plates 5 whereto outlet pipes 6 are mounted on the front side and filters 7 are mounted on the backside are mounted under the right and left seat rails 2 of frames 1 whereto a seat 3 is mounted on the upper side. Right and left side covers 10 are firmly fitted on both sides of these base plates 5 by putting their front edges together, upper edges of right and left side covers 10 are respectively fitted to right and left seat rails 2, rear edges of right and left side covers 10 are drawn near to the front side of the mudguard 4 of a rear wheel, and flashing plates 11 are projectingly provided along the mudguard 4 of the rear wheel inside the rear edges. |
