PURPOSE:To compatibly improve foot-operativity of a brake pedal and to arrange a foot-rest most suitably. CONSTITUTION:A brake pedal 26 is arranged at a position easiest for a driver to carry out foot-operation on a car body floor 2. An electromagnetic actuator 31 to advance and retreat a slider 32 is provided between the front side surface of a brake lever 21 and a support wall 20a of a base plate 20. The electromagnetic actuator 31, when a select lever 4 is at a P position by a position sensor 33, at an N position by the position sensor 33 and a car speed sensor 34 and at the time when car speed is zero, is excited and retreats the slider 32 and cancels constraint of the brake lever 21, and at the other time, it is demagnetized and constrains the brake lever 21 by the slider 32. |
