PURPOSE:To widen a blur effect producible range, and reduce the possibility of causing camera shake by selecting one of the first blur effect photographing mode and the second blur effect photographing mode according to a judging result of a judging means to judge the properiety of photographing. CONSTITUTION:When a blur effect photographing mode is selected by a switch S3, before photographing is carried out, a controller 1 judges whether the photographing in the first blur effect photographing mode is proper or not. When judged that it is proper, the photographing is carried out in the first blur effect photographing mode by which the blur causing possibility becomes rare. When judged that it is improper, the photographing is carried out in the second blur effect photographing mode by which a brightness range becomes wide. That is, a preferential order is set in the first blur effect photographing mode, and a photograph which has a blur effect and in which blurring is not caused, is made to be taken in the first place. When the blur effect can not be obtained by such a reason that brightness is low or high and so on, even if these exists the a possibility of possibility causing camera shake, the blur effect in the brightness range unrealizable in the first blur effect photographing mode can be obtained in the second blur effect photographing mode. |
