A water heating tank has two side plates (3,4) held together by a grid of bolts. A cylindrical spacer (15) with a diameter larger than the hole is provided at each bolt hole location. A sleeve (14) for the bolt (28) is provided within the spacer. The sleeve has a diameter smaller than the hole, but flaring to a wider diameter outside. The plate contour between bolt holes is dimpled outwards. The side plates are also dimpled in shape. The plates are made from 1 mm. thick copper. The spacers and sleeves also have 1 mm. wall thicknesses. The spacer outer diameter is 15 mm. and the sleeve inner diameter is 12 mm. Supplies and connections for cold water, hot water, circulation, heating coil, thermometer, pressure sensor etc, are provided on one side of the water tank. Electrothermal setting for summer time is also provided. The heater is controlled by a central electronic control unit.
