PURPOSE:To reconcile the secureness of matchability between an air bag lid and an opening for an instrument panel upper part and the secureness of detechable operability from a glove box installing opening of an air bag unit. CONSTITUTION:An air bag lid 4 is attached to an opening 2 of the upper side of an instrument panel 1 as a separate body from an air bag unit 6. A bent duct 14 to be set up in the rear of the air bag unit 6 is divided into two parts, one is a panel side duct attached to the back of the instrument panel and the other a cover side duct 16 attached to the top face of a glove box cover 10. This panel side duct is provided with a bracket 24 installed with a locate pin 25 projectingly, while at both side walls in the car width direction of the glove box cover 10, a boss piece 26 is provided where the locate pin 25 is inserted into and engaged in a projecting way. |
