<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize the running position of a magnetic tape and to reduce a deformation and damage of edge faces of the magnetic tape, in a tape guide device for the tape recorder provided with the tape guide to correct a deviation of the magnetic tape in the breadthwise direction. CONSTITUTION:An abutting part 10a on which the surface of magnetic tape 6 abuts, is provided on the tape guide 10 provided at the upstream side of a pinch-roller 7, and both sides of the abutting part 10a are provided with inclined parts 10b on which the edge faces of magnetic tape 6 abut. When the magnetic tape 6 is driven, the surface of magnetic tape 6 runs in contact with the abutting part 10a of the tape guide 10. When this magnetic tape 6 is deviated in the left or ritht direction of the abutting part 10a, the left or right edge part in the breadthwise direction of magnetic tape 6 abuts on the inclined part 10b at the left or right side of the tape guide 10 and is pressed to the center direction, therefore, the running position of magnetic tape 6 is corrected so as to shift to the center direction of the tape guide 10.</p> |
