DUST COLLECTING ELECTRODE

PURPOSE:To obtain a dust collecting electrode reduced in material cost by a method wherein at least one electro conductive layer is constituted so as to be also used as the connection terminal with an external terminal and a heat-shrinkable coated conductive layer is used as one conductive layer to be heat-treated and only the conductive layer is exposed from the cut end surface of the coated conductive layer. CONSTITUTION:A heat-shrinkable coated conductive layer 5 wherein the conductive layer 10 in the heat-shrinkable coated conductive layer composed of aluminum foil is covered with a heat-shrinkable insulating material 9 composed of a PP film and a conductive layer 6 composed of aluminum foil are successively superposed one upon another to be arranged in an insulating resin frame 1 composed of a polypropylene composite material. The conductive layer projection part 7 for the connection with an external terminal of the conductive layer 6 is inserted in the notch part 8 for arranging the conductive layer projection part of the insulating resin frame 1 and allowed to protrude from the outer surface of the insulating resin frame 1 to be used as the connection terminal with an external terminal. Since the heat-shrinkable insulating material 9 is shrunk by heat treatment in the heat-shrinkable coated conductive layer 5 after heat treatment and only the shaded part of the conductive layer 10 is exposed, the electric connection with the external terminal becomes easy.
