PURPOSE:To effectively necrose a tumor by allowing it degenerate at a high temperature by a low invasion by recognizing exactly a shape of the tumor by three-dimensional information, and heating the tumor at a high temperature by a strong ultrasonic wave focused sharply. CONSTITUTION:A patient 3 on a table is carried into an image pickup gantry, and a table moving device 13 fixes the patient 3 to a prescribed position A. Subsequently, a gradient magnetic field power source 14 and a transmitting/ receiving circuit 15 are actuated by a prescribed sequence instructed from a console 16, and three-dimensional image information in the body of the patient 3 is stored in a memory. When a medical treatment start is instructed, a control circuit 12 moves the patient 3 to a medical treatment position B. Next, by controlling a mechanical arm 18, an applicator 1 is moved to the medical treatment position. A position in the body of a focus 6 of an ultrasonic wave is displayed on an MRI image of a CRT 17 from a signal from an applicator position detector 19, and information of a fitting position of an MRI device and the mechanical arm 18, measured in advance. A coincident state of a position of the focus 6 and a focal position of a medical treatment plane is checked, and the medical treatment is started. |
