INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the recording medium having surface hardness of good hardening characteristic and adhesiveness and excellent scratching resistance and wear resistance by having recording and reproducing parts on a substrate and coating at least one surface thereof with a specific compsn. CONSTITUTION:A magneto-optical disk 10 has a recording film 7 as the recording and reproducing parts on the substrate 2 and a surface coating 5 as an over coat film thereon. The other surface of the substrate 2 is protected with a top coat film 6. The one surface thereof is coated with the compsn. contg. an org. solvent contg. a compd. or mixture having >=1 pieces of polymerizable acrylic groups, methacrylic groups or vinyl groups and an alcohol solvent at >=40wt.% of the weight of the org. solvent and a polymn. initiator. As a result, the recording medium having the excellent hardening characteristic in the air and adhesiveness to moldings of resins and metals and the excellent surface hardness, scratching resistance and antistatic performance is obtd.
