<p>PURPOSE:To obtain water-resistant and fireproof building material, the surface of which is like ceramic and can cover wide area and is easy to mount, by a method wherein pastelike surface forming material made of cement containing cement chemical admixture and base member made of wood flour and thermosetting resin are hardened under pressure at normal temperature. CONSTITUTION:Surface forming material 1 is preferably used by kneading 18-28 pts.wt. of cement with cement chemical admixture, 0.8-1.2 pts.wt. of which is dissolved in 8-12 pts.wt. of water. The cement chemical admixture preferably contains calcuim chloride as main component and one or two selected from a group consisting of iron salt, potassium salt and ammonium salt. Base member 2 consists of wood flour and 30-50 pts.wt. of thermosetting resin and is preferably plate-like material having a large number of bead grooves C on one side. After the surface forming material 1 is cast in a bottom mold 3, the base member 2 with the bead grooves C facing downwards is placed on the material 1. Finally, the resultant base member is pressed with a top mold 4. When the front surfaces of a plurality of roofing tiles or plain tiles are recessed vertically and horizontally, water-resistant and fireproof building material, onto which roofing tiles or plain tiles are integrally provided, is obtained.</p> |
