PURPOSE:To measure characteristics of output clock signal of a phase synchronization oscillator to be tested without using an external clock whose appropriateness cannot be confirmed. CONSTITUTION:A selector 13 selects the output clock signal of a phase synchronization oscillator 21 as an input clock signal of the phase synchronization oscillator 11 when testing the phase synchronization oscillator 11. A clock characteristic measuring circuit 15 measures the characteristics of output clock signal of the phase synchronization oscillator 11 with the output clock signal of the phase synchronization oscillator 21 as a reference clock signal. A test control circuit 16 allows the selector 13 to perform the above selection based on an external control signal when testing the phase synchronization oscillator 11 and then reports the measurement result by the clock characteristic measuring circuit 15 to the outside. A clock generator 10 and a clock generator 20 are reversible. |
