CHECKING METHOD FOR CREAMY SOLDER PRINT

PURPOSE:To provide the method which eliminates erroneous extraction of a creamy solder part to check the printed solder with a high precision. CONSTITUTION:The density value of picture data in the vicinity of an electrode pad and the density value of the boundary between a creamy solder and a substrate are compared with each other to discriminate whether the creamy solder is printed on the outside of the electrode pad or not, and it is discriminated whether the density value of one-dimensional data extracted from picture data in the direction of arrangement of electrode pads has minimum values d and d2 higher than the density value of the boundary between the creamy solder and the substrate on the inside of the electrode pad or not to discriminate whether the electrode pad is exposed on the inside of the electrode pad without printing the creamy solder or not, and it is discriminated whether the density value of one-dimensional data has minimum values (a) and a2 lower than the density value of the boundary between the creamy solder and the substrate between adjacent electrodes or not to discriminate whether the substrate is not covered with the creamy solder and is exposed between adjacent electrode pads or not.
