PURPOSE:To make it possible to stir and mix the liquid in a container certainly and uniformly, by moving a stirring rod having an outer peripheral surface shape corresponding to the inner peripheral surface shape of a container up and down in said container. CONSTITUTION:In an apparatus for stirring and mixing the liquid 3 in a container 1 by a stirring rod 2 having an outer peripheral surface shape corresponding to the inner peripheral surface shape of the container 1, for example, the horizontal cross-sectional area shape of the container 1 is formed into a rectangle while that of the stirring rod is formed into a shape similar to that of the container. The stirring rod is inserted into the container 1 and moved up and down to performing the stirring and mixing of the liquid in the container 1. As a result, the liquid in the container can be stirred and mixed surely and uniformly. |
