<p>PURPOSE:To provide the subject deinking agent excellent in performance for separating and removing printed ink in flotation treatment and, therefore, capable of producing a high-whiteness deinked pulp reduced in the amount of remaining ink in deinking newspaper, magazine, etc., by the flotation method. CONSTITUTION:This invented deinking agent contains a higher alcohol polyoxyalkylene ether or an alkylphenol polyxyalkylene ether represented by the formula R-O(PO)x(AO)y(PO)z-H [R shows a 8 to 22C alkyl or alkenyl group or a 4 to 12C alkyl group-containing alkylaryl group. PO shows oxypropylene group and AO shows oxyethylene group or a mixture of oxyalkylene group composed of oxyethylene groups and one or more kinds of oxyalkylene groups selected between oxypropylene group and oxybutylene group and (x), (y) and (z) denote respectively numbers of 1 to 20, 1 to 50 and 1 to 50].</p> |
