PURPOSE:To obtain a catalyst compsn. having high oxidation activity in an atmosphere at a lower temp. than a specified temp. and giving an oxidation catalyst. CONSTITUTION:This catalyst compsn. consists of heat resistant inorg. fibers of alumina, silica, etc., and an oxide contg. one or more among Cu, Co and Mn as principal constituent components or further contains one or more kinds of noble metals and has excellent oxidation activity even in a low temp. range of <=200 deg.C. |
