PURPOSE:To allow elusion of a medicine to continue by floating a preparation in gastric juice. CONSTITUTION:This invented floatable preparation contains at least a porous cellulose and chemicals such as a medicine and can float in water for >=30 min. The medicine may be supported on the porous cellulose, or the porous cellulose may be coated with a film containing the medicine. After coating the porous cellulose with a coating film for giving an excellent floatability, the medicine may be supported thereon. The above-mentioned porous cellulose may be coated with a medicine-containing film. The medicine may be used together with an additive such as a binder. This floatable preparation may be used in a solid dosage form such as powder, granule, tablet or capsule. |
