PURPOSE:To permit stable and sure fixing of slack parts to a tensile body in a crossed central part while crossing the slack parts with the tensile body by fixing the central part crossed with the tensile body to the tensile body while forming the slacks to the tensile body fixed at specified intervals so as to cross said body. CONSTITUTION:The tensile body 8 and an optical fiber cable 9 are integrally fixed by a fixing device 1 and thereafter, the cable and body are taken off for a specified length by a take-off 5. After only the cable 9 is provided with the slack by a slackening device 2, the cable is integrally fixed two the tensile body 8. While the slack provided to the cable 9 is crossed with the body 8 by a cable crossing device 4, the central part where the cable 9 and the body 8 cross is fixed by a fixing device 52. The slack parts as a surplus length are thereby formed to the optical fiber cable and can be crossed with the tensile body while the cable is integrally fixed at specified intervals to the tensile body in a series of production processes. Since the molding of the crossed parts is possible, sufficient twists can be provided in the cable. |
