PURPOSE:To provide a brushless multiphase DC motor which can improve rotation torque by getting a large magnetic flux density change width even during the rotation of a motor. CONSTITUTION:This motor is composed of a stator, which is applied to a spindle motor for a disc device, and generates a magnetic field in excited condition, a rotor, which gas torque by the electromagnetic interaction with this stator, and others. And, when a current is applied to the stator, even if the electrification is stopped after supply of magnetic flux density waveform, that is, the current in positive direction, residual magnetic flux density b is generated in the stator in pause period, and the electrification by the next supply of a reverse current is executed, making use of this residual magnetic flux density b, and in this case, high torque can be generated by enlarging magnetic density change width DELTAB. |
