PURPOSE:To provide a recognizing method for identification code data by which the identification code data from a mobile station can be simplified and demodulation at a fixed station receiving the data can be surely performed. CONSTITUTION:This method is a recognizing method in which the binary data of an identification code is made of (010) and (10), and the readout timing of a sampling signal to read out demodulated digital data is set at the one of 1.5 times a clock readout signal period from the trailing edge of the data. An ID card 10 receives the signal of the fixed station 11, and comprises data (1) of (010) by the clock readout signal of a first frequency division circuit 65 based on the signal, and generates and transmits proper identification code data in which data (0) is made of (10). When such data is received by the fixed station 11, and it is demodulated to a digital signal, and is inputted to a micro computer 54, the data is fetched at the trailing edge of such data, and it is inputted to a RAM 75. After that, it is discriminated whether or not the identification code inputting the data by a discrimination circuit 73 is registered on the RAM 75.
