PURPOSE:To provide an electronic mail controller which easily searches for a desired mail without storing mails in a mail box unnecessarily. CONSTITUTION:A control information table 2 previously contains at least one of the total number of mails in the main box 11, the capacity, and the memory remaining capacity of a storage medium where the main box 11 is present as control information for a certain time and a decision means 1 decides whether or not the mails in the main box 11 reaches at least one of the pieces of control information from the control information table 2. A stored mail list file 7b contains at least one of a sender, a sending date, and several starting lines of a main body for each mail and when the decision means 1 decides that the mail reaches the control information, a storage processing means 6 saves the respective mails in a main storage file 7a from the mail box 11 and stores the senders, etc., in the stored mail list file 7b. |
