Direction indication and alarm lamps are flashed periodically by a unit (12) which is activated by a translucent pushbutton (13) on the dashboard or central console (19). A relay (17) and electronic components of the pulse-generating circuit are arranged on a flexible circuit-board (18) in a recessed housing (15). The movement causes contacts to slide over tracks (23) with tongues (24) held mechanically in a closure (26) with clips (32). Two small lamps (27, 28) signal the alarm indication function and illuminate the pushbutton for nighttime operation respectively. ADVANTAGE - A less costly and more reliable device is not exposed to environmental pollution or other harmful influences, and its wiring is significantly simplified.
