<p>Thick, voluminous sections of textiles of considerable width, such as tufted carpets consisting of synthetic and/or natural fibres, esp. polyacrylonitrile fibres, are continuously treated in a dye-processing plant comprising dye applictor, a steamer for dye-fixing, a washing installation, a dryer and a drive and control system for jointly driving and regulating the separate units.
