<p>The machine comprises a device (10) applying a strip (18) on a label (16) enclosed in a magazine (15) in order to constitute handles provided with two adhesive ends, a rotary plate (6) which turns in synchronism with the device (10) and over which the adhesive strip (18) provided with the labels (16) passes so that at the time of the passage of a package (E) which is displaced continuously and in synchronism with the rotation of the plate (6) this package abuts against the front adhesive end of the handle in order to bond it to the face of the package, whilst the rotation of the plate (6) and the synchronised advance of the package give rise to the progression of the strip (18) above the said package and at a certain distance from the latter in order to apply the rear adhesive end of the handle against that face of the package opposite that which has received its front end, the plate (6 or 6') comprising means for retaining and cutting off the strip (18). <IMAGE></p> |
