The invention relates to a profile (section) formed from plastic or rubber, which is situated in the glass rabbet of the horizontal glazing bars (sash bars) of the outer wall and roof construction of a horticultural greenhouse. It provides the option of glass being mounted in the bars so that they are seated resiliently and in a water-tight manner, thus allowing the width of the glass to be increased compared with the known systems.
